About Harlem Seafood Soul Food Truck
A mobile kitchen serving seafood and soul food from a truck parked weekly at West 125th Street and Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard, in front of the Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Statue and near the Apollo Theater, with additional pop-ups around New York City and New Jersey. The truck is an eco-friendly, custom-built kitchen outfitted with stainless steel restaurant-grade equipment. The business also handles corporate and private event catering and event planning, with formats for groups from 50 to more than 3,000 guests. Weekly hours and pop-up locations are posted on Instagram.
Chef Tami launched Harlem Seafood Soul in April 2016 with what the business describes as the first eco-friendly mobile kitchen of its kind in the area. After several years on the road, it opened a first indoor location with seating inside Dekalb Market Hall in Brooklyn. Three years later the operation returned to the streets of Harlem in a redesigned mobile kitchen.
