About Studio 113

Studio 113 is a full-service hair salon at 212 Forest Hills Drive in Garner, staffed entirely by Master Stylists. The service list runs across relaxer treatments, roller sets, silk press, colour and highlights, cuts and trims, braiding and twists, loc styles and extensions — with the team’s individual specialties covering precision cutting, crochet braids, 360 lace frontal wigs, full sew-ins, fusions, quick weaves, custom colour extensions and natural hair. The salon takes clients of all ages, genders and ethnicities, from children to adults, and every stylist attends continuing education classes in product knowledge and colour theory. Appointments are by phone: (919) 661-1988. Extension work with Stephanie Partin-Davis requires a complimentary consultation first. Policies are published and firm. Cancellations and reschedules need at least 24 hours’ notice or a $35 fee applies; arriving more than 10 minutes late by the salon’s clock may mean rescheduling. There are no refunds or free services for a change of mind, but if you are not happy with a cut or colour the salon will adjust it within one week of the appointment. Open Tuesday to Friday 9am–6pm and Saturday 8am–2pm; closed Sunday and Monday.

Studio 113 has been trading in Garner, North Carolina since at least 2022, owned by Michelle Merritt-Tucker, who came into the cosmetic art industry more than thirty years ago. She holds a Cosmetology degree from Sherrill’s University of Cosmetic Art, a BSc in Business Administration from Shaw University and an MBA in Human Resources from Strayer — and assembled a team of Master Stylists whose experience runs from a decade to more than forty years each. The salon’s stated mission is customer satisfaction through excellent service, premium products and a visit worth remembering, and it deliberately serves everyone: all ages, all genders, all ethnicities, kids through adults. Beyond the chair, Studio 113 works as a small community hub. It gives space and vending opportunities to local authors and retailers promoting their own small businesses, runs classes on aspects of cosmetology including colour technique, and operates “A Career in Cosmetology”, a programme introducing high school students to the trade — apprenticeships, licensing, business planning and what the work actually involves. Photographs from breast cancer awareness events with the team in matching shirts sit alongside the salon’s own gallery.
