Claudia closed her 20-year-old tax business at about 43 and took a job with a major coffee chain. A gratitude journal, prompted by Rhonda Byrne's book "The Magic," shifted her outlook and her drinks. After researching coffee's history and planning for a year, she opened Queen Coffee Bean, naming it for her late grandmother, Queen Esther.
