About Oakland African American Chamber of Commerce
The Oakland African American Chamber of Commerce supports Black-owned businesses across Oakland and the Bay Area. Members get networking events, a searchable business directory, promotion through newsletters and social channels, and advocacy with city and state agencies. The chamber runs workshops on access to capital, branding, entity formation and taxes, plus minority business certification assistance, ByBlack certification, business advising, mentorship, notary and certificate of origin services. Events include mixers, luncheons, and holiday shopping experiences.
