About Metropolis

A contemporary American restaurant from chef Marcus Samuelsson inside the Perelman Performing Arts Center in Lower Manhattan. The menu draws on New York City's culinary traditions through a modern lens, paired with theatrical cocktails and a wide-ranging wine list. The David Rockwell-designed space includes a dining room, a busy bar, a landscaped outdoor terrace, and a lobby lounge with free artistic programming open to the public. Private events and catering are also available.

The restaurant opened as the culinary anchor of the Perelman Performing Arts Center, describing its role as part of the final chapter of rebuilding the World Trade Center site.
