About Cafe Orleans/Quizine Orleans

Cafe Orleans, also called Quizine Orleans, serves New Orleans Creole and Cajun food in Raleigh. The kitchen turns out gumbo, jambalaya, red beans and rice, crawfish etouffee, shrimp and grits, poboys and beignets, plus salads and plant-based wraps. Themed days include Fish Fry Friday, Seafood Saturday and Soul Food Sunday. Catering packages cover weddings, corporate luncheons and family gatherings. Orders can be placed directly or through DoorDash. Desserts come from Black-owned vendors.

Crystal and her husband Richard created Quizine Orleans. Crystal grew up in New Orleans, cooking alongside her mother and learning her way with dishes like jambalaya, Cajun dirty rice, gumbo and fried chicken. The couple relocated to Raleigh and wanted to bring the Big Easy with them.
