The Autonomy Group, PC is a boutique estates law firm serving clients in North and South Carolina. The firm handles estate planning, elder law, Medicaid and crisis planning, special needs planning, probate litigation and administration, business planning and gun trusts. It also works with clients nationwide on complex Social Security matters, including overpayments, appeals and improper benefit terminations. Immigration services are offered as well. Planning is tailored to each client's circumstances.
Founder Soraya Martial-Wright spent over a decade as a claims specialist with the Social Security Administration before earning her law degree part-time while working full-time. She felt limited by the range of solutions she could offer there and opened the firm to help families plan more fully. The name reflects her aim of helping people protect their own choices.
