Queen KJ started Teas & Tinctures in Charlotte, NC in 2020, wanting to support her community through holistic products and education. She grew up drawn to nature and was raised around grandparents and great-grandparents who gardened and canned. She later learned her maternal fourth-great-grandmother was a midwife who used herbs, and her paternal third-great-grandfather healed with herbal medicine — work she describes as an ancestral calling.
