About Synergy Sweets
A Tampa bakery specializing in cupcakes, cookies, brownies and blondies, cheesecakes, and cheesecake cakes, with both bold new flavor combinations and traditional ones. Signature items include the "Black Velvet" cake and guava cheesecake. Custom orders, build-your-own cookie boxes, and event catering are available alongside online ordering. The bakery took first place in Tampa's 2023 Dessert Wars and has been featured in the Tampa Bay Times.
Owner and creator Shonnika Denise traces her interest in food to family gatherings and the memories built around them. She enrolled at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in 2013, found her passion for baking, and graduated in 2015. After working in the culinary industry as a pastry chef and custom decorator, she wanted full control over the creative process and the freedom to experiment with flavors and textures, which led her to start Synergy Sweets.
