About Studio Balayage Michigan

A boutique, one-on-one hair studio focused on lived-in balayage, dimensional brunettes and blondes, and low-maintenance custom color meant to be refreshed only one to four times a year. Every appointment starts with a consultation covering hair history and goals, and formulas and hand-painted placement are built from scratch around hair type, tone, face shape, and lifestyle rather than set foil patterns. Root refreshes between full balayage sessions are also offered, and pricing is quoted upfront based on hair history, density, length, and technique required. The work emphasizes soft grow-out with no harsh lines or orange tones.

The stylist behind the studio, Eda, has worked behind the chair for 20 years and has been using the salon's balayage techniques since 2015. Her work has included local Michigan movie sets and celebrity clients such as Amy McCarthy, Corrina Roshea, and Jack Nasser, and she has appeared on FOX2 News Detroit in segments on balayage and hair trends. She now operates a private studio in Birmingham designed for unrushed, one-on-one appointments.
