About Spruce Nail Shop at Walnut Hills
A nail and skincare salon offering manicures, pedicures, custom nail art, facials, tinting, and waxing, plus mobile specialized care in homes or facilities and group bookings. Polishes are 5-Free or better, vegan, cruelty-free, and gluten-free, with LED rather than UV gel lamps; estheticians work with the Botnia and Naturopathica lines. The shop uses hospital-grade sanitation, sterilizing implements and using single-use items where sterilization is not possible. It sells its own product line, including lotions, sugar scrub, and a jojoba-based cuticle serum, along with polish and press-on sets.
Molly Reckman Nagle founded the salon in 2015 around the idea of "good, clean, fun" for both clients and staff. A skincare department was added in 2019. The business is women-owned and operated and sources from women-owned product vendors; it partners with Green Circle Salons for recycling and was certified carbon neutral in spring 2023.
