About Smith Natural Hair Academy

Smith Natural Hair Academy trains natural hair stylists in Lumberton. The school offers the 300-hour Natural Hair Stylist Course required to sit for the North Carolina Board of Cosmetic Arts Natural Hair Care Specialist Exam. Courses also cover bridal hair design, hair extensions and natural hair design, plus CEUs for licensed stylists. More than 100 students have taken the state exam, with an 85% passing rate. Evening classes run Monday through Friday.
