About Personal Treasures Beauty Supply & Salon
Personal Treasures Beauty Supply & Salon is Greensboro's Black-Owned and operated beauty supply store, open since 2007. Founder Everett "Coach" Bruce and his granddaughter Krista Morehead stock hair care for Black women and men, wigs and extensions, and run a licensed salon offering facials, makeup and eyelash extensions. Krista is also a notary. Known online as GSO Black Beauty Supply, the store treats customers like family.
Everett Bruce started by peddling beauty products to Greensboro salons and stylists, then opened Personal Treasures in 2007 in a vacant storefront that had once been a salon he supplied. What began as a small wig store grew into a full beauty supply with a licensed salon. His granddaughter Krista Morehead joined in 2016 with free rein to reshape the store and grew its clientele by half through social media.
