North Coast Co-op in Arcata is a community-owned natural foods grocery store, the first food co-op on the West Coast, serving Humboldt County since 1973 with over 17,000 member-owners. It is the only certified organic food retailer in the county, offering organic produce, a large gluten-free selection, a full-service deli and bakery, and a bulk department with more than 400 items.
