No Knife Chicken & Waffles is DaBaby’s Charlotte-born upscale diner at 700 Atando Avenue in the North End, open from brunch through late night. The kitchen fries buttermilk chicken and presses waffles to order, in flavors from Plain Jane to Red Velvet, Peach Cobbler and a Soulfood Cornbread Waffle with wings, collards, yams and mac and cheese. Plates add lobster and grits, crab fried rice and jerk chicken egg rolls. Walk-ins are welcome.
Charlotte rapper DaBaby opened No Knife Chicken & Waffles on September 6, 2026, his first restaurant in his hometown, turning his cooking videos into a Southern comfort menu. The name is the promise: fried to order, pressed to order, no knife required.
