The company began in 1949 when newlyweds Mike and Elaine Adler started a mail-order business in New York City, using an early heat-sealing machine to produce personalized pocket calendars, pens, and business gifts. It grew from a family-run operation into an international factory-direct supplier serving the United States, Canada, and Europe. In 2023 ownership passed from the Adler family to Jeff Lederer, former owner and CEO of Prime Line, and investor Christian Feuer. Expansion continued with the 2024 acquisition of Germany-based Schneider GmbH and the April 2025 acquisition of Promos On-Time.
