About Monterey College of Law

Monterey College of Law is a private, nonprofit law school in Seaside founded in 1972 by local lawyers and judges. Approved by the State Bar of California's Committee of Bar Examiners, it offers part-time evening J.D., Master of Legal Studies, and LL.M. programs, with additional campuses in San Luis Obispo, Bakersfield, and Santa Rosa.
