M.N.D. Accounting is led by owner Mary Nicole Douglas, an entrepreneur who built her firm after a career that began at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Charlotte, where she worked in the Personal Financial Services Group performing tax compliance for high-net-worth clients. She went on to serve as a Senior Tax Accountant for other Fortune 500 companies, including a nine-year tenure at Bank of America across its Corporate Tax, Compensation, and Executive Advisory Services groups, as well as time in the Tax Compliance group at TIAA-CREF. A native of Buffalo, New York, Douglas became a mother at sixteen and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from North Carolina A&T State University, graduating magna cum laude, before building the career experience that now underpins her firm. M.N.D. Accounting maintains offices in both Charlotte, NC, and Buffalo, NY, serving individuals, small businesses, and corporations across the United States from its headquarters at 3472 North Davidson Street in Charlotte. The firm's services span accounting for individuals and couples, business services including small business accounting, part-time CFO services, cash flow management, strategic business planning, and new business formation, plus a full range of tax services covering preparation, planning, and resolution of tax problems such as non-filed returns, back taxes, wage garnishment, and offers in compromise.
