About Lovejones Stylez Salon

A full-service salon that works across every hair type and texture, with a licensed team of cosmetologists, natural hair specialists and barbers. Locs are a major part of the book — starter locs, palm roll and interlocking maintenance, high-top work, loc up-dos, micro locs and per-loc repair on extensions. The natural side covers comb coils, two-strand twists damp or blown out, wash and go, pin ups and detangling; the chemical and colour side covers relaxers, perms, full colour and highlights on relaxed, natural or locked hair, custom colour for wigs and bundles, and ombré by consultation. Treatments run from hot oil and scalp stimulation to keratin and protein. There are cuts for men and women, set-and-style work (roller sets, rod sets, finger waves), sew-ins, bridal and special-event styling with a trial, plus lash extensions and brow services. Love Jones Stylez traces back to 2017. Owner Christina Jones came south from New York City and Upstate New York with more than two decades in the hair business behind her, and opened on Blue Ridge Road in Raleigh. The salon runs deliberately unrushed — no chair-turnover model — and its motto is “Where There Are No Limitations To Meeting Your Expectations!”. Jones has built out a team of licensed cosmetologists, natural hair specialists and barbers, and the salon featured in WRAL’s coverage of the Wake County school board vote ending discrimination against natural hair styles.
