About Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce

The Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce is a membership organization serving Black-owned and minority small businesses across Nassau, Suffolk, Queens and Kings counties. It runs a member directory, member deals and a Small Business Solution Center, and helps owners pursue MWBE certification to do business with New York State agencies. The chamber hosts networking events, business seminars and Minority Enterprise Development Month programming, and connects members for referrals, mentorship and brand growth.

John L. Scott founded the chamber and serves as its Chairman. Phil Andrews is the current President and has led its public relations campaign and membership growth.
