About Kincaid’s Country Inn
A Wisconsin supper club four miles north of Rice Lake on Highway 53, serving nightly slow-roasted USDA Choice prime rib, steaks, and fish fry plates of cod, walleye, and salmon. The menu also runs to chicken and pork dinners, burgers and sandwiches, baskets, and appetizers including Wisconsin cheese curds, with a kids menu and a 21+ menu. There is a full bar plus wine by the glass or bottle, including Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Dine-in and carry-out are both available.
The building has housed a tavern or supper club since 1933, when Frank and Anna Snobl opened Snobl's Tavern, known for lunches and night-time dancing with live bands. It passed through a long line of owners and names \u2014 Snobl's Nite Club, Amundson's, Lakotas, Don Dodge Supper Club, the U-R Club, and then Country Inn under Ray and Lois Peterson, who added the porch room that was later enclosed. Christian and Jessica Kincaid took over in 2020, arriving after a stint on Wisconsin's Long Lake and continuing the restaurant under the Country Inn name.
