About Karlton Cafe
Scratch-made breakfast and lunch served all day from a kitchen inside the historic Karlton Theater in downtown Quakertown. The menu covers omelets, pancakes and griddle items, eggs Benedict, breakfast platters, sandwiches and wraps, plus a full barista menu of espresso drinks, lattes and iced coffee, with rotating seasonal specials. The cafe is BYOB, with fresh-squeezed orange juice for mimosas, and everything is cooked to order rather than held under heat lamps. Takeout and local delivery are available, along with catering and a private side room for showers, corporate breakfasts, funeral luncheons and other gatherings.
The cafe is family-owned and run by James, who describes cooking everything in-house in an open setup where guests walk into the barista area with the kitchen in view. Seating includes two main-level tables, a side room opened on weekends, and a downstairs dining room with booths and tables.
