About Havens Petting Farm

An 80-acre farm in Blue Mounds open to visitors Wednesday through Sunday from April to October, where guests can hold baby chicks, get into pens with piglets, pet rabbits, and see goats and cows milked or sheep sheared depending on the season. Goat yoga classes, birthday parties, and group outings can be booked on the farm, and an event calendar tracks both on-site events and appearances at local events. A mobile petting farm operates year-round, bringing animals to homes, workplaces, and family reunions in the surrounding area. Discounts apply for seniors, veterans, and first responders, and children under two visit free; e-gift cards are available.

In 2010, Logan Havens moved with his wife Sarah and their three children to the small farm in Blue Mounds where Logan grew up, wanting his children to have the same agricultural upbringing of chores, animals, and fence repair that he had. Within a few months, he and Sarah decided to share that experience with people who would otherwise never have the chance to be around farm animals. The farm sits in hilly, wooded land a few miles from Cave of the Mounds.
