Founded in 2008 by Scott Wigginton, who continues as president, with the aim of having a greater impact on the Greenville community. The name came to Wigginton while looking at a North Carolina mountainside during his years developing golf courses and golf course communities; he wanted a firm named for something lasting rather than for one person. The firm describes the name as standing for stability, resilience, and a foundation bigger than any individual.
