Genie's Hair Studio is the Charlotte-area salon of stylist Ri, known as The Hair Genie. The focus is closures, lace and natural-looking installs with healthy natural hair underneath. Install options include classic leave-out, lace closure, frontal, and microlink braidless sew-ins, which require a consultation first. Luxe packages bundle the hair, lace customization and install at one price, using bundles from The Genie Hair Co. Glueless quickweaves come in classic, closure, frontal and half up-half down versions. Other services cover silk presses, natural loc retwists with a handmade oil blend, ponytails, frontal ponytails, custom color including highlights, balayage and blonde lifting, install removals and two-to-three week touch-ups. Wig work includes closure and frontal wig installation plus custom handmade closure wigs built to a client's head measurement. Installs include a shampoo, blow out, braid down, protective net and a custom blend scalp oil. Ri also takes bookings for weddings, photoshoots, private events and travel.
