Family Affair Hometown Cooking is a food truck serving street food classics in the Smithfield area. The menu runs to steak and cheese, crispy chicken tenders and hand-crafted homemade lemonade. The husband-and-wife owners started the trailer during Covid. She worked in healthcare; he was a selector for a major food supply chain. With the future uncertain, they prayed, researched the business and gained family support before opening. They describe the early going as hard work with many challenges, and credit her healthcare background and reliance on Jehovah God for getting them through.
