Eunoia Law Firm is a North Carolina law practice built around the idea of "eunoia" -- beautiful thinking, or a well mind -- which the firm uses to describe its approach to creating peace of mind for clients navigating legal matters. The firm is led by two attorneys, Shanelle Edmonds and Charles I. Sexton. Charles hails from Winston, Georgia and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia, studying political science, sociology with a criminal justice focus, and music business, before earning his J.D. at Elon University School of Law. Before law school he worked alongside criminal attorneys in Athens, Georgia, and ran a "Know Your Rights" program for college students in partnership with local law enforcement and legal professionals. He also spent time in entertainment law and production, curating media and preparing speeches for entertainment industry figures, and helped develop pitches for reality television. At Elon Law, he took part in the Small Business and Entrepreneurship Clinic, which sharpened his focus on business law, and completed a leadership capstone project addressing the school-to-prison pipeline through youth mentorship. Eunoia Law Firm's practice covers business law, including contract drafting, employer policies, entity formation, and mergers and acquisitions; intellectual property work such as copyright and trademark protection; commercial and residential real estate transactions; and estate planning and administration.
