Decor Fancy Ja designs florals for weddings and events from a home studio in the Huntersville area. The team works with fresh-cut flowers, real-touch silk (artificial) blooms and dried flowers. Fresh arrangements are available for local pickup, delivery, installation and setup; real-touch silk designs are handcrafted and shipped anywhere in the world. Occasions covered include weddings, engagements, anniversaries, baptisms, baby and bridal showers, church services, Mother's Day, proms, graduations, homecoming, quincea tilde;eras, banquets, corporate events and father-daughter dances. Specific work includes bridal party and family florals \u2014 bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, halos, petals and flower bundles \u2014 plus ceremony florals and decor, cocktail hour accents, reception decor, floral installations, tablescapes, centerpieces and garlands. They also do branding flowers and styled shoots, and handle set up, tear down and pick-ups. Marva works with event planners and other vendors locally and internationally, and has experience with destination and elopement weddings in the Caribbean and the mountains. Florals are tailored to the client's budget, and the team lists floral budget management, flexible planning and clear communication among its strengths.

Marva started Decor Fancy Ja formally in 2011, designing from her home studio, and still designs there today. She grew up as the eldest of five children and tended her own garden in elementary and high school. At Floral Design Academy, an instructor predicted weddings would be her area of focus; Marva resisted, saying she was going corporate. After her first large event in Jamaica in 2011, weddings and formal events became her niche.
