A 24/7 convenience store and drive-thru combining Sunoco fuel with made-from-scratch food, including deep-fried chicken and jojos, deli and breakfast sandwiches, homemade sides, and daily weekday lunch specials made from long-standing Fisher family recipes. The Italian sub, made with deli cuts and fresh toppings and served cold or toasted, has been a fixture on the menu for over 30 years. Other offerings include a walk-in beer cave, groceries, hot coffee, propane exchange, an ATM, and Ohio Lottery tickets and pull tabs. A rewards app earns points toward savings on fuel, fresh food, and grocery at both the Norwalk and Avery locations.
Dave Fisher opened Dave's Food Mart in 1978, serving fresh homemade food on Norwalk's south side. The store moved to its current Benedict Avenue location in 1997, adding a drive thru and round-the-clock service. The Fisher family has continued running the business and its original recipes in the decades since.
