Gerry Cukierski, a Loyola University Chicago accounting graduate, began his career at the Internal Revenue Service, earned his CPA license in 1977, and started the firm in private practice. Sons Mike and Nick Cukierski joined the firm and now serve as managing partners, and the practice describes more than 40 years in business with over 200 years of combined staff experience. Michael J Cochrane & Associates became Cukierski & Associates in 2017, bringing several longtime partners and managers into the current firm.
