About Craft House Salon
A by-appointment, gender-neutral salon offering precision and razor cutting, dimensional color and grey coverage, curly cut sessions, head spa and smoothing treatments, bridal, brow and makeup work. Appointments are booked as timed sessions priced by artist level and service goal rather than per foil or gloss, and every visit includes an in-depth consultation and a complimentary custom treatment. It is a Green Circle Salon that recycles hair, foils, color and PPE, uses Salon Scale and EcoHeads to cut product and water waste, and works with Davines and Cult & King. Craft House partners with The Dresscode Project and Strands for Trans, closes Mondays for team education, and rotates local artists' work as a not-for-profit gallery space.
The name reflects the salon's two halves: craft for the cutting, color, consultation and education behind each service, and house for the welcoming, lived-in feeling of the space. Located at 87 First Avenue in the historic district near the Seastreak ferry, it has always operated as part salon, part gathering place, hosting free public gallery openings, makers' markets and community events.
