About BZ Body Shop

The body shop is part of BZ Auto Group's Ligonier campus, a Ford and Chevrolet dealership operation that also includes two certified service and parts departments, an on-site car wash and detailing, and a finance department working with more than 15 lenders. Collision and body work is handled by technicians in a dedicated body shop building, with appointments scheduled through an online request form that collects vehicle year, make, model, and mileage. Body shop specials are offered alongside service and parts specials.

BZ Auto Group began in 1979, when 26-year-old Rick Zollars and his father-in-law Bill Burnworth bought a Ford dealership from Wayne Reed in Kimmel, Indiana. The business moved to Ligonier in 1981 and added a body shop, built a new 16,000-square-foot facility in 1996, acquired the local Chevrolet dealership in 1998, and constructed a new body shop on the Ligonier campus in 2005. Former sales managers Ken and Jason bought the company from Zollars in 2015, and the Burnworth Zollars name was changed to BZ Automotive Group in 2022. The group has grown from five employees to more than 55.
