Braids By Kadi is an African braiding salon with locations in Stockton, Antioch and Vallejo. The shop covers a wide range of braid work: box braids in small, medium and large, knotless braids, boho and bohemian styles, Fulani braids, Ghana braids, lemonade braids, cornrows, stitch braids and men's cornrows. Twists include Senegalese, Marley, spring, passion and mini twists. Loc services run from starter locs and retwists to microlocs establishment, loc extensions and bohemian/goddess locs. Weaves and extensions are also offered, including closure and full sew-ins, lace frontal and wig installs, and I-tip or tape extensions. Kids' cornrows and box braids are available, along with scalp treatments, deep conditioning, hair straightening, braid take-downs and braided or silk ponytails. Prices quoted before a face-to-face consultation are estimates, since cost depends on style, length and thickness. Sessions can run several hours, so free wifi and refreshments are provided. Clients are asked to arrive on time and with hair washed and blow dried; if the salon runs more than 15 minutes late, it credits $10.
