About Black Travel Summit

A global platform producing year-round events plus an annual multi-day flagship gathering for Black travel professionals, creators, entrepreneurs, planners, and hoteliers. Programming spans speaker series, breakout workshops, an exhibitor expo, pitch competitions, a wellness lounge, FAM trips, the Black Travel Film Festival, and the Black Travel Awards Gala with the VICtor Awards. The 2026 summit runs October 15-18 at the Baird Center in Milwaukee, following past editions including Fort Lauderdale; past speakers have included Malik Yoba, Jason Harvey of BET+, and host Kellee Edwards. Sponsorship and exhibiting opportunities are available to brands wanting to reach the Black travel community.

Black Travel Summit LLC was established in 2019 and reflects founder and CEO Anita Moreau's vision of empowering Black travel professionals and connecting Black-owned businesses with the broader travel industry. The leadership team is global and represents African diaspora communities including Black Caribbeans, Black Africans, African-Americans, Afro-Latinos, and Black expats. A sister organization relationship has been in place since 2024.
