Barnyard Betsy serves Philadelphia-style cheesesteaks and hoagies on Main Street in Creswell. The kitchen makes beef and chicken cheesesteaks, Italian and American hoagies, fried fish and shrimp hoagies, wraps and salads. Signature items include the Barnyard Burger, the Hay Stack Chix Deluxe and Fire Pit Kits. Breakfast sandwiches and pancakes are also served. Seating is at an indoor lunch counter, at picnic tables or by the fire pit, plus takeout.
The owner grew up in Philadelphia watching authentic cheesesteaks and hoagies made to order, and wanted to bring the same food to Creswell. With over 22 years in hospitality, including food and beverage, restaurant startup and guest accommodations, they opened a rustic barn-meets-city spot serving fresh, affordable sandwiches. The restaurant is named after the family matriarch, their grandmother Betsy.
