Matthew J. Ackermann grew up in Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1994 with a BBA in Accounting, earning his CPA license in 1997 while working at Williams Young & Associates, now part of Wipfli CPAs and Consultants. He moved to Cincinnati in 2005 and settled in the Columbia Tusculum neighborhood. He has served on the boards of the Columbia Tusculum Community Council, The Carnegie Center of Columbia Tusculum, the 3 East Business Association, and the Tusculum Street Fest.
