About Accented Glory

Accented Glory is a handcrafted fashion accessory brand by designer Tonya Cross. The line covers hair accessories, jewelry and handbags with an Afrocentric, boho chic vibe, built around cowrie shells. Headbands adjust so wearers control the fit, and fabrics are chosen to be gentle on kinky, coily and curly hair. Earrings can be converted to clip-ons. Cross also takes custom orders, sells small batch wholesale, ships craft kits and teaches accessory making classes.

Tonya Cross founded Accented Glory after noticing retail hair accessories catered to young girls and were not natural hair friendly. She set out to make accessories for adult women with natural hair, choosing fabrics that reduce friction and limiting adhesives and rubbers that hair oils break down. Every design is wear tested. Over the years she expanded the line to include jewelry and handbags.
